2. Data we process

• Bookings and enquiries on the website: name, phone, e-mail, rental dates, pick-up/return location, selected car, your message.
• Rental contract: ID card and driving licence data, driving experience, payment and deposit details. Collected when the contract is signed.
• Technical data: IP address and browser details, unavoidably received by the website server and third-party services (section 6).

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Processing your booking and contacting you — pre-contractual steps at your request and consent.
• Concluding and performing the rental contract — performance of a contract.
• Accounting, tax records and replies to authorities — legal obligation.
• Defending the company's rights (damage, fines, accidents) — legitimate interest.
• Optional third-party services (Google map) — consent, withdrawable at any time.

4. Retention

• Bookings not followed by a contract — up to 6 months.
• Contracts and related documents — for the periods required by accounting law and limitation periods.
• Your privacy choice — only in your browser (localStorage) until you clear it.

5. Recipients

We do not sell data. Access is limited to SADA Rent Car staff who need it, and:

• our hosting provider and the e-mail service used to send booking confirmations;
• WhatsApp / Telegram — only if you contact us through them;
• public authorities — only where required by law.

6. Cookies and third-party services

The website uses no advertising cookies. The ci_session and csrf_cookie_name cookies are strictly necessary for the site and form security.

Google Maps loads only with your consent; when it loads, Google receives your IP address.

You can change your choice at any time: privacy settings.

7. Transfers outside the Republic of Moldova

Google, WhatsApp and Telegram may process data on servers outside the Republic of Moldova. Such transfers rely on the safeguards provided by Law No. 195/2024 or on your consent when using the respective service.

8. Your rights

• restriction of processing;
• data portability;
• objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
• withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

You may lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection — datepersonale.md — or apply to a court.

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures: restricted staff access, encrypted connection (HTTPS), CSRF protection of forms, physical documents kept in locked premises.
